Who doesn’t love a good prairie storm!?! I remember watching the sky grow dark and the clouds rolling in. We always remained hopeful for ‘only rain’ – no wild wind or hail, please and thank you!
This Prairie Castle art piece features an angled poplar wood tiled sky to mimic an oncoming storm on the prairies. Each 'tile' has been individually hand painted before being glued in place on the backer. The grain elevator features reclaimed weathered green boards reminiscent of the Alberta Wheat Pool colour. The land has been made with alder wood from Vancouver Island and I've added a laser engraved sheaf of wheat as an added accent.
