West Coast Tranquility. You know that feeling you get when you take in your surroundings and they are so beautiful that you forget about everything else that is going in in your life, and just take in the moment that nature has given you? That’s how I feel when I look at this piece. From the beautiful ironwood land, to the majestic mountains pieces, and then that sky! I was on the fence about the sky when I first painted it, but decided to try sanding the edges of each piece back to the bare wood, and I’m in love with the effect it has created.
Please note: As my products are made with new as well as reclaimed, rescued or upcycled wood, there will be imperfections such as knots, chips, minor colour variations, etc. The use of these pieces create character, texture and charm. Colours will vary depending on lighting so may look darker or lighter than they appear online.
